
Fernanda Martins-Costa
Fernanda Mynarski Martins-Costa is a lawyer, legal opinion writer, and a postgraduate Professor at Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV (2024). She holds a PhD in Commercial Law from the University of São Paulo Law School – USP (2021), was a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law (Germany – 2019), earned a Master’s degree in Civil Law from the Rio de Janeiro State University Law School – UERJ (2015), and a Bachelor of Laws from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul Law School – PUCRS (2011).
Since 2021, she has been part of the firm’s team. From 2011 to 2019, she worked at Barbosa Müssnich Aragão (BMA), in the Research department.
She is dedicated to the study of Civil Law and Commercial Law, and has published the books Deferred Performance in M&A Contracts (Almedina Publishing, 2022) and Suspensive Condition: Function, Structure, and Legal Framework (Almedina Publishing, 2017), as well as various articles and book chapters.
She is a member of the Institute for Culturalist Studies – IEC and the Brazilian Institute of Business Law (IBRADEMP).
