Professor Judith Martins-Costa, founding partner of Judith Martins-Costa Advogados, is a legal opinion specialist with experience in both judicial proceedings and arbitration. She prepares legal opinions on matters related to Private Law (Civil and Business Law). She has also served as an arbitrator, including in the Arbitration Centers of the following institutions: CAM-CCBC (Center for Arbitration and Mediation of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce) and CMA-CIESP (Center for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration of CIESP/FIESP). (Read  more)

Rafael Branco Xavier is an attorney and PhD candidate in Civil Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo – USP (2024). He holds a Master’s degree in Civil Law from USP (2023) and earned his LL.B. with academic honors from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul – UFRGS (2013). Since 2010, he has been part of the firm’s advisory team, conducting research for legal opinions and assisting in the management of arbitration proceedings. Pietro Benedetti Teixeira Webber

Pietro Benedetti Teixeira Webber is an attorney with a Master’s degree in Civil Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo – USP (2025) and an LL.B. from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul – UFRGS (2019). He has been part of the firm’s advisory team since 2015, conducting research for legal opinions and assisting in the review of legal publications. He also serves as Administrative Secretary in both institutional and ad hoc arbitration proceedings. Fernanda Mynarski Martins-Costa

Fernanda Mynarski Martins-Costa is an attorney and Professor in the graduate program at Fundação Getulio Vargas – FGV (2024). She holds a PhD in Commercial Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo – USP (2021), a Master’s degree in Civil Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro – UERJ (2015), and an LL.B. from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul – PUCRS (2011). In 2019, she was a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law (Germany). Since 2021, she has been a partner at the firm, conducting research for legal opinions. (Read more)
